How to show Windows Messenger in Add or Remove Programs

Posted on 02:27 by Unknown
Windows Messenger is not listed in Add/Remove programs, but you can easily make it appear there and if you wish can remove from the Add/Remove list too.

To do this:-

Start>Run>type:C:\WINDOWS\inf>ok

Now open sysoc.inf and locate:- msmsgs=msgrocm.dll,OcEntry,msmsgs.inf,hide,7 change this

to:- msmsgs=msgrocm.dll,OcEntry,msmsgs.inf,7

Windows Messenger will appear in Add or Remove Programs.
